Launch
of Christie MicroTiles™ PR outreach to the Digital Out-of-Home media helped MicroTiles quickly gain credibility, garnering extraordinary clipping numbers, with top industry blogs picking up on the new technology as well. They also went on to become a favorite on Twitter and other social media sites. MicroTiles continues to “win friends and influence people,” gathering numerous industry awards along the way. Our PR agency worked with the digital signage journalists and editors, who are especially fascinated with MicroTiles' flexibility, as well as the architectural community, which appreciated its potential architectural installations. MicroTiles use on the Colbert Report and their introduction at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) resulted in a large amount of editorial coverage in print media, and hundreds of tweets pointed to stunning images of the MicroTiles in action on the Colbert Report set. Ongoing customer success stories and numerous industry awards helped Christie MicroTiles remain a “media darling.” As a result, it consistently delivered a record number of clips almost every month through the end of the launch year, with their success in the U.S. being mirrored in Europe. Among their successful U.S. incarnations were the interactive Buzzwall at the Miami Dolphins' Sun Life Stadium in Miami and as a war memorial in Lansing Michigan.
